POLICY

INTRODUCTION-
This policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for the fabrication, installation, and use of 4x4 snorkels at Gustoms 4x4. It applies to all customers and workshop personnel involved in these services, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

SNORKEL DESIGN AND FABRICATION-
All snorkel designs will adhere to industry best practices, relevant Australian standards, and safety regulations. * Materials used in fabrication will be of high quality, UV-resistant, and specifically chosen for their durability and suitability for the intended application and environmental conditions. * Customers may request custom designs; however, these must be reviewed and approved by our qualified technicians. A detailed consultation will be conducted to ensure feasibility, structural integrity, and compliance with safety standards. Gustoms 4x4 reserves the right to refuse custom designs that are deemed unsafe or impractical.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURES -
Snorkel installations will be performed by trained and experienced technicians certified in automotive modification and 4x4 accessories. * Installations will follow manufacturer guidelines, industry best practices, and Gustoms 4x4's internal quality control procedures to ensure proper fit, function, and water tightness. * Customers will be provided with a detailed explanation of the installation process, including any necessary modifications to their vehicle (e.g., cutting, drilling). They will also receive a comprehensive post-installation briefing on snorkel operation and maintenance.

WARRANTY - 

Please be aware our products are aftermarket items. 

It is the users responsibility to do all appropriate research prior to purchasing any items. 

Please note: snorkel to factory airbox: If you have been supplied and fitted a stainless-steel snorkel kit to fit directly to your factory airbox, please note this kit is not a complete sealed intake system.

Therefore, neither Gustoms 4x4 or the installer are liable for any water ingress that may occur through joins within the factory air box system.

If you are after a fully sealed intake system, we suggest purchasing a snorkel and aftermarket alloy air box kit. 

Aftercare: We do not take responsibility if aftercare is not properly adhered to. 

Snorkels: Snorkel warranty covers anything whereby the manufacturer is at fault due to workmanship. We warrant our powdercoated snorkels for 12 months for peeling of powdercoat. Please be aware powdercoat will naturally fade, anything older then 12 months is not covered by warranty. General wear and tear and lack of proper aftercare is not covered by warranty. 

Airbox's: Airbox warranty covers anything whereby the manufacturer is at fault due to workmanship, there is no other warranty on airboxes or their parts. 

Exhausts: Exhaust warranty covers anything whereby the manufacturer is at fault due to workmanship. 

LIABILITY-
Gustoms 4x4 is not liable for any damage to the vehicle that occurs as a result of improper use of the snorkel, including but not limited to water damage to the engine or electrical components. * Customers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is properly maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and all applicable laws. Gustoms 4x4s's liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the snorkel and/ or re-performance of the installation service, at our discretion. 

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES- 
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their vehicle, including make, model, year, and any existing modifications. Customers must inform Gustoms 4x4 of any known issues with their vehicle that may affect the snorkel installation. * Customers are responsible for inspecting the snorkel and installation upon completion and reporting any concerns to Gustoms 4x4 immediately.

DISCLAIMER-
Snorkel installations may affect the vehicle's original factory warranty. Customers are advised to consult with their vehicle manufacturer or dealer before proceeding with a snorkel installation. Gustoms 4x4 is not responsible for any changes to vehicle performance or fuel economy resulting from the snorkel installation. • Off-road driving involves inherent risks. Gustoms 4x4 is not liable for any accidents or injuries that occur while using the snorkel.

POLICY UPDATES-
Gustoms 4x4 reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. * The most current version of this policy will be available on our website and at our workshop.
